REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING INTO ARTICLES. 1.
Before entering into articles, a non-graduate shall
produce evidence that he has passed; i.
a full Higher School Certificate or Sijil Tinggi
Pelajaran Malaysia or its equivalent, with a pass at principal level in
Mathematics; or ii.
an examination accepted by the Board provided that the
examination passed includes a pass in Mathematics; or iii.
a final professional examination in land surveying,
Institution of Surveyors Malaysia; or iv.
a Diploma in Land Surveying from the University of
Technology Malaysia, MARA Institute of Technology, or any of the recognised
technical institutions or colleges acceptable to the Board; or v.
an Advanced Diploma in Land Surveying from MARA
Institute of Technology. 2.
Before entering into articles a graduate shall produce
evidence that he has obtained any first degree in Land Surveying from any
universities or institutions, as follows: i.

Malaysian citizen; 4.
Except in the case of the Director General of Survey, a
Licensed Land Surveyor must have been registered for more than five years
with the Board before he can take in any person under articles. 5.
The Board may, with the approval of the Minister, from
time to time amend, vary, add to, revoke, suspend or revise the requirements
for entering into articles as prescribed in the provisions of regulation 8
(1) and (2). |
