T hese INDENTURES made the _____ day of _______________20________ between ___________________________________ (hereinafter called the" Surveyor " ) of the first part and ____________________________________________ of __________________________________________ in the state of __________________________________________________, Federation of Malaya, (hereinafter called the "Articled Pupil" ) of the second part witness that:-

1. The Articled Pupil has placed himself and by these presents do place himself Pupil with the Surveyor in his profession of Land Surveying as Registered Surveyor under the Licensed Land Surveyors Ordinance, No. 11 of 1958, for a period of ____________ year(s) as from _____________________ and that the said Pupil shall keep secrets of the Surveyor and in all respect shall discharge his duties as such Pupil to the best of his ability and that he will not do anything that shall cause damage or injury to the instruments and affects of Surveyor nor knowingly suffer the same to be done nor attempted by others. The SURVEYOR HEREBY COVENANTS with the said Pupil that he the Surveyor or his authorised representative will to the best of his/their skill and knowledge teach and instruct the said Pupil in all manner of field surveying PROVIDED however that the Surveyor or his authorised representative shall not be under any obligation to instruct in theoretical surveying or to pay for the instruction of the said pupil therein.

2. These indentures may be cancelled by mutual consent: PROVIDED that the parties hereto shall forthwith give notice in writing of any such cancellation to the Secretary of the said Board.
